Mortgage Loan Originator License Required.

Arco Financial is looking for an extremely ambitious individual with excellent time management skills and a proven track record for closing loans.

The Loan Officer will be primarily responsible, for working with the clients to complete the application process, loan disclosure and reviewing files for adherence to underwriting standards; ensuring completeness of submission to processing.

You will act as a liaison between clients and our financial institutions. You will help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Call leads, interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of application process of granting loan.
  • Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits.
  • Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information.
  • Determine all applicable ratios and metrics.
  • Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them.
  • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions.
  • Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services.
  • Maintain and update account records.
  • Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans.
  • Develop referral networks, make outbound lead calls.
  • Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Florida MLO license required.
  • 1+ year as either; Mortgage Loan Officer, Processor or Underwriter Preferred.
  • Sound judgment, ability to think critically, including the ability to evaluate facts and data to draw conclusions, determine the downstream impact of decisions and associated risks.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment; strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation and highly organized.
  • Demonstrate patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal associates and external clients.
  • Ethical, with a commitment to company values.
  • This position can be in one of our branch locations or done remote.
